At the leading edge of banking and investing, Brooklyn New York Holdings has moved into new office space overlooking Central Park, adjacent to St. Patrick’s cathedral in midtown Manhattan. Throughout the private offices along the perimeter and the open central workspace finishes were chosen to simultaneously reflect the company’s dedication to early adoption and innovation in finance as well as an interest in the human scale and natural qualities. The lighting is integrated into recessed ceiling and wall coves to provide unobtrusive ambient light. It was especially important to maintain the visual continuity of the fixtures throughout the space, even as ceiling materials varied from acoustic tiles, dense decoustic panels, and gypsum board. This sophisticated office space is also home to an extensive corporate art collection subtly featured by integrated accent lighting.
